Empower Change!

We are in the midst of a revolution now.  The concepts that we grew up with: country, territory, boundaries, patriotism, national economies, and segmented religions are being regarded by many as redundant. This revolution is even more profound than Copernicus’s discovery that the world is round. It is a revolution in which our view of us as separate from the rest of life, in which our mind is separate from our body, in which time and space is finite, is dissolving before our eyes.

In the face of the upheavals caused by pollution, environmental collapse and extreme politico/religious violence, there is a movement away from the organised religions to awareness that every individual has direct access to higher truths of life and spiritual awakening. At the same time modern science is breaking new frontiers to find, or re-discover, a fundamental field of life that connects everything in the universe, including ourselves. Books like “The Universe in a Nutshell” by Stephen Hawking, and “The Field” by Lynne McTaggart have brought this profound scientific quest into the public domain.

In its most simple form this message is that in order to survive as a species and heal the damage to this planet we need to place the needs of mankind first, and our own individual needs second. The message from the universal life force that is being echoed today by so many leading authors and teachers is that the key to our survival is the collective advancement of the human race. With widespread knowledge of theories like Lorenz’s Butterfly Effect, so many of us now find it incomprehensible how our leaders can detonate underground nuclear explosions and have no apparent awareness of the link between their actions and a Tsunami wave or earthquake in another place shortly thereafter. Therefore, no matter how enlightened some individuals may be at this time, in the spirit of Jung’s Universal Consciousness, it is our species as a whole that must now reach up for the Light.
